Create your account
Set up NAVI for your store. Takes about 5 minutes.
Create your Shopify app
NAVI needs a custom app on your Shopify store to pull your order data. Follow these steps — it takes about 5 minutes.
1
Open Shopify Dev Dashboard
Go to dev.shopify.com/dashboard and sign in with your Shopify account. Select your store.

Alternative: Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps → App development → Build apps in Dev Dashboard — both lead to the same place.
2
Create a new app
Click Create app. Name it NAVI Intelligence. The name is internal — your customers won't see it.
3
Configure app settings
Set the App URL to the value below — click to copy:
https://shopify.dev/apps/default-app-home
Then find “Embed app in Shopify admin” and uncheck it — it is enabled by default but must be disabled for NAVI to work correctly.
4
Add API scopes
Under Admin API access scopes — copy and paste all scopes at once:
read_orders,read_all_orders,read_customers,read_products,read_inventory
read_all_orders is critical — without it only the last 60 days of orders are accessible.
5
Give a version name & Release
When prompted for a Version name, type NAVI (no spaces allowed).

Then click Release to publish the app version. This activates the scopes and enables installation.
6
Install your app & get credentials
In the left sidebar, click the name of your app → click Install app.

Shopify will redirect you to confirm permissions — click Install there too.

Then go back to dev.shopify.com/dashboard → click your app name → Settings (left sidebar). Copy your Client ID and Client Secret — you'll need them in the next step.

What gets synced
Orders, customers, and inventory. Your data is stored privately — it never touches another account. After setup, NAVI re-syncs automatically every night.
